Based on website exploration, our gorup learned from

"Text-based approach is the way to language and literacy
education that combines an understanding of genre and genre teaching together
in the EFL class."
Feez and Joyce, (1998) mentioned that a text based syllabus is:
“Text
based syllabus is a response to changing views of language and language
learning by incorporating an increasing understanding of how language is
structured and how language is used in social contexts ”
